Midtown

The lights, the parties, the music, the dancing. Where the decadent rich rub elbows with gangsters and artists alike. From the grand opera houses to the back alley gin joints, there’s nowhere on Kona like Midtown in Zhavvygrad.

The Provod Tower - A monument to the achievements of industry, the Provod Tower stands higher than any in the world.

Grand Union Processing (The Joop)- The station at the center of Zhavvygrad’s transport system and typically the first stop for outsiders entering the city.

The Sinikyub - A massive cube-shaped building made of Lapiz Lazuli, the Sinikyub is one of the largest art galleries in Kona, and is used as a fabulous location for grand balls and galas, as well as a common meeting ground for diplomats, spies and Metrorangers. High Street - Home to Zhavvygrad’s Theaters, Opera Houses, Coliseums, and Bear-Baiting Rings

The Crystal Citadel - The official residence of the Royal Family. The ruling monarch is Queen Zaleria, who lives here with her children, the twins Princess Vanya and Prince Verik.

Downtown

Banks

The Parliament of Bells - The governing body of Zhavvygrad, made up of two houses: The House of Patricians (made up of ancient landowning families) and the House of Burghers (made up of merchant oligarchs and the heads of trade guilds)

The Dome - The great trading hall of Zhavvygrad

Metronic Hall - The central meeting place of the Council of Metrorangers, an organization of rangers who view their urban environment as the same as a more typical fantasy ranger might view the forest they reside in. A core part of Metroranger philosophy is the inclusion of people as a natural part of the urban environment and the citizens of Zhavvygrad as part of their ward.

The Industrial Park

The Steel Mills - The Steel Mills dominate Zhavvygrad’s landscape, covering the sky in a thick layer of inky black smog. The Steel Trade in Zhavvygrad is controlled by the Merchant Oligarch Nicodemus Arereus, and as steel is Zhavvygrad’s primary export, and Zhavvygrad is the top producer of steel, it has made Arereus one of the richest men on the planet. Radical philosopher, working-class folk-hero and perpetual drunk Yakko Soyuz has been (discreetly) attempting to organize a radical Steel Worker’s Union.

The Chemical Plants - The Chemical Plants of Zhavvygrad are owned and operated by merchant oligarch Stephen Yad. As they produce the necessary alchemical concoctions needed for the production of steel, Yad and Arereus find themselves in a conflicted economic alliance.

Zhavvygrad Tenements

Susgow Across the Black River is Zhavvygrad’s twin city, the Walled City of Susgow (although, more and more it has become a borough of Zhavvygrad). Originally a Military Base, Susgow has developed into an industrialized area that fuels Zhavvygrad’s progress.

The Power Mills - The Electric Powerhouses are controlled by the merchant oligarch Donar Provod.

Henna - A sprawling refuse dump where many of the working-class make their home in the valley of ashes.

The Cathedral of the Holy Crucible - The holy temple attended to by technopriests of the Church of the God in the Machine.
