Government Group - Centimane, Kanara

The Centennial Inquisition - often just referred to as 'The Centennial' - is a powerful organization within the government of Kanara's capital city, Centimane. The Centennial conducts clandestine operations within the region in the interest of
. The state and filigree on the armor indicates that she was a low-ranking officer.

Backstory

Cecilia was born and raised in Kanara, in a small farm town not far from the capital. As a child, she had many imaginary friends, which always seemed to get her into trouble. She rarely minded, though; she always enjoyed the adrenaline of going against what she was told, even if it blew up in her face. She grew into a rebellious adolescent, which eventually led her strict parents to enroll her in a military academy in Centimane. She struggled there, failing to fulfill quotas or make meaningful connections with her fellow soldiers-to-be, but Inquisition recruiters saw promise in her stealth skills and deadly accuracy with a rapier. In the night, the Centennial snatched Cecilia away and began training her as an inquisitorial bodyguard.

Over the next few years, she began to come into her own, being able to coexist with her fellow officers in what seemed oddly like a more relaxed work environment. Perhaps it was because she was older; perhaps it was being able to fraternize with the higher echelons of Kanaran society. Perhaps it had something to do with an itch in the back of her skull she felt at odd moments, or the sense that she was being watched when she was sure she was alone.

In the midst of her rise through the Centennial's ranks, the famine hit. Kanara's political climate began to shift, and the inquisition's efforts began to turn inward. Suddenly and without warning, Cecilia was approached by one of her superiors - Major Brasch, an officer she'd gotten along with well in the past - who told her to leave the city immediately, and that the Centennial wouldn't be providing her with work anymore. His tone was grave, and Cecilia understood the message within his stilted words that he was doing her a favor. The itch told her that she was in danger. She packed her essentials, as well as her bespoke-crafted leather armor, and boarded the first caravan she could out of the city.
