Calau is a Kanaran city bordering the [[Khesiid]] desert. It is a trade hub for [[The Kavisi]] and Kanara. Currently, however, it is under siege by [[Claug]] forces headed up by [[abel_hyte]], who is looking to weaken Kavisi trade routes.

The city guard is run by Frida Meier, a tough young woman who is nevertheless buckling under the pressure of Claug's siege.
